The Digital-Reefs information and image vault is a project that has been running since January 2005.
Today, the gallery contains nearly 1000 high quality images and species information ‘profiles’ and has had well over 500,000 page views since it's creation! As many of the animals featured are wild-caught specimens passing through dealers tanks, as well as acting as a comprehensive marine image stock library, it also provides a record of the sometimes rare species entering the trade at this time. The site is currently one of the best online sources for information and identification on a range of marine livestock with material painstakingly compiled from a range of sources, including first-hand observations made by hobbyist on various Internet forums.
Being an ongoing project, the gallery continues to grow in value as an information and image resource.
